Day 1:  We travel to Salem, MA, to experience Haunted Happenings, a month-long celebration of Halloween. We enjoy dinner at a popular restaurant in Boston, then take a Boston Ghost and Graveyard Trolley Tour.  You will hear stories of the City's gravest moments, it's most ghoulish individuals, Boston's burial grounds and all things shadowy and sinister presented with a dose of good humor.  Later we check into our hotel for the next 2 nights.  (D)

Day 2:  We enjoy an expanded Continental Breakfast including hot choices.  Then we embark on a tour of the Salem area and learn about the famous 1692 witchcraft trials that consumed this New England sea-side village, and hear about the rich maritime history.  We will visit the Salem Witch Museum, where we learn about the witch trials, and decide for yourself if they were truly guilty.  Lunch will be on your own in Salem.  Then we tour the Witch’s Dungeon and move on a local production about this time in Salem’s history.  Dinner will be included this evening at a popular local restaurant.  (B, D)

Day 3:  We enjoy another hot breakfast, then travel to Newport, RI, where we will take a guided walking tour of the shadowy lanes and roads, and discover the ghosts, ghouls and legends of this haunted city by the sea.  (B)
