GENERAL INFORMATION AND POLICIES
HOW TO MAKE A RESERVATION
Reservations for all tours may be made by calling the Lou & Linda’s Adventures office at 717-406-6261, 717-569-1111 or 717-690-4829. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The office is closed Saturday and Sunday.
PAYMENTS
Lou & Linda’s Adventures will accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover for every tour offered. Checks, money orders or cash are also accepted. Send payments to Lou & Linda’s Adventures, P. O. Box 324, Landisville, PA 17538. Please indicate on your check which tour you are reserving, your contact information and departure point.
PAYMENT DEADLINES
Multi-day Tours: Final payment is due 45 days prior to departure. A deposit of $200.00 per person is due at the time of booking.
One-day Tours: Payment is due at the time of booking.
PLEASE NOTE: You will not be billed for any tours. Confirmation will be sent to you once money has been received. All checks should be made payable to Lou & Linda’s Adventures. Please indicate on your check which tour you are reserving, your contact information and departure point.
REFUNDS
Multi-day Tours: A full refund will be given 45 days prior to departure date. Any cancellations made within 45 days will be subject to a cancellation fee of $100.00 per person for the number of scheduled days of the trip, plus any non-refundable expenses. Cancellation must be made by phone by close of business on the day prior to your departure, or by close of business on the Friday before your departure, if your departure day is a Sunday. SORRY, NO EXCEPTIONS. The purchase of travel insurance is highly recommended.
One-day Tours: A full refund will be given 14 days prior to tour departure. Cancellations received less than 14 days prior to departure will be subject to a $75.00 per person cancellation fee plus any non-refundable expenses. No refunds will be given to anyone cancelling 7 days prior to the day of the tour. SORRY, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Certain one-day tours such as entertainment shows and dinner theaters, etc., may involve non-refundable payment on the entire tour. Ask your reservationist if you have questions regarding the trip you are taking. Cancellations received by phone must be during regular business hours.
TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE
This is available through Allianz Travel Insurance at 800-284-8300, TravelInsurance.com 877-906-3950, or contact your local AAA.
BAGGAGE
Each tour member is entitled to one piece of luggage plus a carry-on bag, not to exceed 50 pounds, on multi-day tours. Extra luggage can be accommodated at a rate of $8.00 per piece per day. Even though every effort is made to supervise the careful handling of luggage throughout the tour, Lou & Linda’s Adventures will not assume liability for loss or damage due to breakage, theft, hotel or carrier handling, fair wear and tear, etc.
SEATING ON MOTORCOACH
Seating will be based on current CDC Policies. There will be no seat rotations.
SMOKING OR ALCOHOL ON MOTORCOACH
Smoking of any kind, and/or drinking of alcohol are prohibited while aboard the motorcoach on all Lou & Linda’s Adventures.
IMMIGRATION
Each US citizen must have a valid passport for entry into Canada.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Lou & Linda’s Adventures reserves the right to cancel a tour if less than 20 reservations have been made 10 days prior to departure date.
RESPONSIBILITY
Lou & Linda’s Adventures acts only as an agent and assumes no liability in arranging hotels and other accommodations and cannot be responsible for non-performance on the part of hotel proprietors or others entrusted to provide tour features. The right is reserved to decline to accept any person as a member of the tour and to cancel or make changes in any itinerary and to increase our prices, if circumstances require or judgment decrees it.
LOU & LINDA’S ADVENTURES TRAVEL MILES
Lou & Linda’s Adventures offers Smileage Coupons, a valuable travel bonus when you take one of our multi-day tour packages. Your Smileage Coupon is a special certificate you will receive on the last day of your tour. You may apply the discount to any other multi-day tour within 18 months of the date of your trip. The value depends on the number of miles on the tour.
DEPARTURE LOCATIONS
Lancaster: 1515 Lititz Pike Park in the lot against the grey wall on the Oregon Pike side of the Planet Fitness store at the Lancaster Shopping Center.
York: 1081 Haines Road Park at the far side of the Ollie’s parking lot on the Mount Rose Avenue side.
Harrisburg (East Side): 1001 Eisenhower Boulevard Park in the ABC Bowling Alley lot near Highland Street.
Camp Hill: BJ’s Wholesale Club, 3805 Hartzdale Drive. Please park to the left at the curb facing Hartzdale Drive.
PLEASE NOTE: Passengers may be asked to change pick up locations if there aren’t enough other passengers at that departure point. We will not go to a location if there are less than 5 people signed up unless the site is in the direct line of travel. We understand that this may be an inconvenience and may increase your travel time and we will do our best to accommodate each passenger. Please be flexible in your departure location.
MISCELLANEOUS
Passengers will not be permitted to stay on the motorcoach when it is turned off, as this is the driver’s off-duty time. If the need arises that a passenger must rest, every effort will be made to accommodate that passenger.
