Day 1: We depart for our Kentucky adventure. We enjoy an included dinner before we check in to our hotel for the evening. (B)
Day 2: We start our day with an included breakfast at our hotel before we head out for a day of Kentucky fun! Today we will take a “Gangster” Walking tour before lunch on your own at the Levee. Next we will visit Revival Vintage Spirits where you can sample from their tasting menu. Dinner on a riverboat cruise is included this evening. (B, D)
Day 3: After our included breakfast we depart for Lexington. We will experience the Kentucky Horse Park and have a lunch buffet. Next we will visit the Mill Ridge Farm, near the iconic Keeneland Racetrack. This farm is renowned for raising and selling first class Thoroughbreds. Dinner will be included tonight a local favorite. (B, L, D)
Day 4: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before we depart for Louisville. We will check into the historic Seelbach Hilton hotel and enjoy a welcome reception and a tour of the property. Lunch will be included today. We will tour the Frazier History Museum and sample some bourbon. Next we will have a guided tour through the Louisville Slugger Factory. At the end of the tour everyone gets a miniature Louisville Slugger bat. There will be time to explore the factory store and museum on your own. There will be time for another bourbon sampling before our included dinner. (B, L, D)
Day 5: Today we depart after breakfast. We will tour Evan Willams and do a bourbon tasting. Next we will visit the Kentucky Derby Museum and Churchill Downs. We will see the finish line, the Winner’s Circle and the iconic Twin Spires. We will also watch a short film in the Great Hall. There will be free time to explore as well as time to possibly take in a class about Derby hats or how to place your bets. Dinner and live racing are included at Millionaires Row! (B, D)
Day 6: After a full breakfast at our hotel we will travel to the Ark Encounter. This modern engineering marvel amazes all visitors. Enjoy the exhibits and lunch on your own. We will check into our hotel for the night and enjoy the “Kickback” or you can do dinner on your own. (B, D)
Day 7: After another delicious breakfast we depart for home filled with memories of our wonderful Kentucky experience.
