Day 1: A morning departure has you heading to Asheville, NC for Christmas at the Biltmore House. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and freshen up before dinner in the area. (D)
Day 2: After breakfast, depart for the Asheville Visitors Center to meet your guide for a historical tour of Asheville, which will include a visit to the Folk Art Center. After the tour, stop at the Grove Arcade, which features the region’s fabulous foods, delicious dining and local crafts. Lunch will be on your own. Later in the evening, we will depart for the Biltmore Estate. This evening’s dinner will be at the Stable Café on the grounds of the Biltmore Estate. The highlight of your visit to Asheville will be the Candlelight Christmas Evening Audio Tour of Biltmore House, which is completely illuminated with candles and soft lights as it was when George Vanderbilt officially opened the home on Christmas Eve, 1895. Day 3: After breakfast, we will depart for the daytime visit of the Biltmore Estate. Explore the stories of the Vanderbilt Family, their guests and employees through displays of vintage clothing, accessories, art, furniture and more when visiting the Conservatory and Antler Hill Village, which connects the estate’s past and present with dining, shopping and exhibits. The Winery shop has a distinctive portfolio of multi-award winning reds, whites and roses. Lunch will be on your own. We depart the Biltmore and travel to Pigeon Forge. You will experience the Titanic museum and enjoy a rootin, tootin good time at the Dolly Parton Stampede dinner show. (B, D)
Day 4: After breakfast, we will enjoy a guided tour of Sevierville and Bush’s Beans Visitor Center. Lunch will be own your own The Island in Pigeon Forge. We will spend the evening exploring the many colors at Dollywood, where you will receive a voucher for dinner. (B,D)
Day 5: We depart for home full of the joy of a happy trip!
