Day 1: A truly exciting Christmas theme tour finds us traveling to Asheville, NC. Upon arrival, we enjoy a holiday feast at a popular local restaurant. (D)
Day 2: After breakfast, we spend the day touring the Asheville area. Highlights of our tour include the Basilica of St. Lawrence, the Mast General Store, featuring true Appalachian crafts and admission with hot cider punch to the Smith-McDowell House Museum. Tonight will be a highlight of our tour with our visit to the magnificent Biltmore Estate. (B, D)
Day 3: Following breakfast, we return to the Biltmore this morning to visit the house, grounds, greenhouse and winery during daylight hours before departing for the second half of our tour in Pigeon Forge. We arrive early afternoon and unpack before “Iceberg Dead Ahead!” Tonight we will dine aboard the Titanic, enjoying a first-class Captain’s Dinner. We also tour the Interactive exhibit, allowing you to walk the Grand Stairwell, touch a real iceberg and survey over 400 artifacts directly from the ship and its passengers. Later we attend the Smoky Mountain Opry’s “Christmas Spectacular”. (B, D)
Day 4: We are off this morning on a local tour of the area that features a visit to Bush Beans and the Dolly Parton Statue in Sevierville. We arrive at Dollywood mid-afternoon and enjoy their special Smoky Mountain Christmas. Enjoy the Christmas shows, crafts and rides during this special time of year. A Christmas Feast Buffet will highlight our evening before we enjoy a night tour of Winterfest, a dazzling variety of Christmas lights and displays in the Pigeon Forge area. (B, D)
Day 5: Following a final included breakfast, our holiday adventure comes to an end today as we travel home filled with the spirit of the season. (B)
